27th October 2002. First day home. Still a baby.
First week: I don't know you and I don't trust you! Where are all the other budgies?
One week home and already perching on the finger.
Two weeks home and one of the first head scratches. These developing pin feathers are really itchy...
November 16: first attempt outside. It ended up with a few big flights and back in the cage.
November 21: sitting pretty outside.
November 25: evening scratching of the head, now in free out of the cage version.
This is big outside of my cage...
There... there... so itchy!
December 4: first walk on the kitchen counter...
Getting rough with the boss.
Friends again: eating seeds from his finger.
I'm an e-budgie!
December 8: I got a Jingle Ball. It's starting to look a lot like Christmas.
A budgie at the window. Here I can see everything better than from inside the cage.
December 11: my new favourite place to hang out.
December 13: I'm such a good bird... I eat my veggies. Today I got broccoli.
December 19: peas and corn are my favourite veggies.
